This cool-climate region, once famous for its apple orchards, has become a haven for winemakers. Since the early 2000s, they’ve been harnessing the perfect blend of high altitudes and refreshing Atlantic breezes to cultivate exceptional grapes that result in wines packed with varietal character.

Located in the cool hills of the Elgin region, around 70 kilometres from Cape Town, a group of six growers have teamed up to craft a range of wines that focus on classic cool-climate varieties, namely Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The wines are all made with a natural approach with minimum intervention once the grapes reach the winery, and the resulting bottlings all exhibit balance and texture.
