The Wine The Wine
Spain
Region:Cariñena
This selection of fruit from old Garnacha vines demonstrates the amazing depth and body that Garnacha can reach without costing the earth. The deeper roots of the old vines help with steady ripening throughout the growing season when temperatures above ground are becoming much less stable and the water is getting lower and harder to reach for younger vines. Yields are also lower and the fruit more concentrated, which presents itself here with plump and ripe plum and raspberry fruit with a lovely rounded mouthfeel and a touch of refreshing minerality on the finish.
