Nestled next to the Pevensey Levels Nature Reserve and close to the sea in East Sussex, Henners Vineyard was established in the picturesque village of Herstmonceux in 2007. Selected from several vine rows, this limited-production, classic sparkling uses traditional methods to deliver richness and complexity. Reserve wines combined with a gentle touch of barrel-fermented Chardonnay bring depth and roundness. Expect notes of citrus, cox apples and pear to combine with sweet brioche leading to a long, elegant finish.
The Winemaker The Winemaker
Collette O'Leary
The Henners wines are made by a small team of just three people: Collette, Will and Samantha. They are involved in every aspect of wine production; from grape to glass. In fact, each team member will handle every bottle two or three times before release and has oversight of every element. Collette joined the team as Head Winemaker in 2019 and really is a tour de force. She oversees the day to day running of the Estate and all aspects of wine production at Henners. Her mission has been to reinvigorate the brand and develop the winery with cutting edge technology to make sure every wine is flawless.
