Puisseguin Saint-Émilion suffers from a lack of recognition compared to its more prestigious neighbour (Saint-Émilion), but there are some real gems out there if you know where to look. For us, Château La Diligente is just such a diamond - rich, powerful yet fresh and with a nice complexity. It shows lovely aromas of strawberry, raisin and plum, with cedar, clove and vanilla notes all coming from its time spent maturing in oak barrels.

Château La Diligente
Château la Diligente has 11 hectares of vineyards with an average vine age of 35 years. It is located on the limestone plateau of Puisseguin Saint-Émilion, northeast of the famous town of Saint-Émilion.
"Coming from the Bordeaux tradition, this wine benefits from the Puisseguin Saint-Émilion Contrôlée Appellation. On the palate, it reveals hints of red and black fruits, coated by supple tannins and fruity flavours.
