They're not short of sunshine down in Jumilla, and we put this red together with exactly that in mind. That sunshine ripeness without the high alcohol that oftens comes with it was the aim, and we're very happy with the results. Such an all-purpose red with lots of fruit and character, in a very drinkable style.

Juan Miguel Benitez
Juan comes from a family with a long winemaking tradition as his two grandparents had a winery. In fact one of his earliest memories was being with his father in the cellar. This enthusiasm for wine has been passed down and he delights in the happiness which his wines bring to others. When he isn't making wine, Juan loves to hike through the mountains looking for fossils (as he has a passion for geology and history) or growing vegetables in his small farm.
