This really is a jewel of a find from the up-and-coming Portuguese wine scene. The coastal vineyards of Portugal, particularly here just northwest of Lisbon, are capable of producing excellently fresh and saline whites, not dissimilar to now-famous whites of Galicia in the north, but much more wine for the money. No longer one for the future - one for right now!

Diogo is undoubtedly a rising star in European winemaking. After gaining some overseas experience, most notably in the Napa Valley, Diogo has really specialised in Portugal, so much so that he was awarded Winemaker of the Year in 2022 by the Grandes Escolhas.
