The Wine The Wine
Austria
Region:Kamptal
As you travel through the undulating hills of Kamptal, you see terraced vineyards lining the hillsides. It is on the best of these sites that Grüner Veltliner is grown. Made using organic grapes, the winemaking team at Weingut Bründlmayer carefully handpick each grape to ensure it is of the very best quality. This results in a wine packed with classic Grüner Veltliner notes of peach, white pepper, wet stone, and spice. These indulgent flavours paired with tangy acidity makes it a feast for the senses. Chill a bottle and enjoy!

The winery is run by the Bründlmayer family and general manager Andreas Wickhoff MW. Together, the Bründlmayer team displays meticulous attention to detail. Careful harvesting and precise selection of grapes ,and minimal handling in the winery results in pure, restrained and mineral wines. The focus is on excellent Grüner Veltliner and Riesling from great sites in the Kamptal.
"Classic western Kamptal style in a great, cool vintage. Attractive, juvenile bouquet of fine density, purely flavoured, fresh citrus peel and peach fruit flavours accompanied by fragrant notes of hay." - Willi Bründlmayer, Winemaker.
