We've been shipping wines from Marlborough winery Walnut Block for over a decade now and they continue to provide depth to our Kiwi portfolio. Working sustainably, always with an eye on the future and the preservation of the vines they work with, this approach really does come through in the finished bottlings. This is their epic oaked Chardonnay that has all the hallmarks of a great white Burgundy. The palate is rich and full bodied, abundant flavours of stone fruit and citrus with hints of nuts before the captivating finish that is perfectly balanced and exceptionally long.

Walnut Block is the vision of two brothers - Clyde and Nigel Sowman. The name was inspired by Marlborough's oldest walnut tree that sits in the heart of their vineyards. In combining their experience in viticulture and the wine industry with their passion for and appreciation of fine wine, they have created a unique range of superbly crafted Marlborough wines.
