Giles is on a mission to bring Aussie Grenache to the world stage. Arguably the most famous Grenache wine is Châteauneuf du Pape, but this red is a very different kind of animal. Châteauneuf and other Barossa reds are usually big, powerful beasts - and whilst this certainly has intensity of flavour this delicately hued red is otherwise very elegant with vibrant wild strawberry, spice and a silky texture. Try it served slightly chilled, or it makes a great partner to grilled lamb or aubergine.
