Whereas a full-blooded Amarone is made completely from dried grapes, the L'Ornato is a blend of juice from dried grapes combined with their estate-level Corvinone, Corvina and Cabernet Sauvignon which are fermented more traditionally. The result is a really smooth, huge red with masses of cherry and blackcurrant fruit, complex spicy and herbal notes and possesses the spirit of a top-drawer Amarone, but at a snip of the price.

'Ladera' means slope, as this wine takes its name from the south-facing angle of its vineyard. Bringing together two varieties - Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec - has resulted in a wine with concentration, balance and a wonderful purity of fruit the Ladera vineyard is famed for. Use of French oak was judged to perfection, not overshadowing the purity of fruit, but adding layers of complexity. This is pretty special. A spicy red and black berry-scented wine that'll mature gracefully over the years.

Champagne Gremillet is a small but beautifully formed, family-owned Champagne house. Due to its southern latitude in Troyes, the grapes achieve a greater ripeness which leads to richer fruit. This combines perfectly with classic biscuit flavours mixed with toasty yeast overtones that develop from 18 months of maturation on lees. In the glass, Champagne Gremillet Ambassadeur Brut NV shows fresh floral aromas combined with characteristic sweet brioche overtones, balanced by peach skin and baked biscuit flavours with a crisp citrus finish and a fine mousse. This Monastrell from Vina Elena, one of Jumilla's most coveted producers, is bottled without filtration to show the grape in all its glory. The concept of this range emerged from an extensive tasting at the winery where one particular tank - tank 214 - stood out for its delicate purity, so the decision was made there and then to transport all of that charm to our customers. Bright blue fruit, sun-baked soil and subtle dried fruit with a lovely, easy weight on the palate. Completely authentic and absolutely delicious.

The Welsh owners of this near organic estate on the beautiful banks of the Garonne have tried their utmost to produce wines expressing the best of the well-drained, mineral-rich Graves soil. This Rouge is carefully blended from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It's fruity and smooth with firm tannins and nice oak. Through age it's starting to show the peppery notes of classic Graves, with liquorice, pencil, dried herb and earthiness melding nicely with blackcurrant and red cherry fruit.
